I am soooooo passionate about everything Scottish and Scandinavian.........and they are not so different........both have very interesting weather patterns!! :-)
I love all aspects of each of their lifestyles and the big emphasis on family, warmth, traditions, culture and of course the arts and design!
Scandinavia is known for all its aesthetic and simplistic, bright beauty and Scotland tends to be known more for its dark woods and deep colour. Apart from the weather there is also the similarity of the long dark winters, so you have to make use of whatever light you have.
On my blog I want to mix it up a bit with both cultures - lifestyle info, interiors, exteriors, products - anything that I feel covers the spirit of both countries and creates that warm fuzzy feeling inside.
